Ever since Tony and I were married I've wanted to go to the Grand Canyon with him :) I haven't been since I was a kid and he says he's been there but didn't remember it. He only knows he has been because of a picture his mom has- it was great making making new memories together. We went with my mom, dad, and little sister Brook :)
I got to rub Brighty's nose :) He brings good luck! I remember my mom reading Brighty of the Grand Canyon when I was a kid. The story was based on one of the favorite Burros they used for Prospecting. After the prospectors were gone and had moved on they used, the Park used the forgotten Burros to give rides for tourists and kids.

We want to go to the Grand Canyon sometime, too. Although we're hoping to do it by raft as well. I've heard the wait list is long and expensive for that. Maybe in several years....Looks like fun anyway!
